Full Fibre Broadband Is Coming To Cookley

Hello My Name, is Jake Hammond. I am the community engagement officer for full fibre heroes. We are building full fibre to the home infrastructure in Cookley.

What is Full Fibre to the Home ?

Fibre broadband currently is largely Fibre cabling to the green BT box in your street, but the cabling used from the green box in your street to your property is copper. This reduces speeds as part of the infrastructure is still using old copper cabling. Copper cabling can be affected from electromagnetic interference which can affect the speed and stability of the broadband service. The distance of your property to the cabinet can also affect the speed as the further away from the box your property is the slower the speeds you get. Full Fibre to the home is fibre cabling all the way into the property giving greater speeds and stability.

I am not here to sell any product as we only install a service, we are not an Internet service provider. Cheapest packages at the time of writing this information is £25 per month and that is for speeds of 160 mbps upload and download.
